In Nosara you can experience Costa Rica’s biodiversity up close, here are hundreds of birds species. Our guide will provide information about amazing birds and nature around you, while kayaking on the calm waters of Nosara river, where many birds come to fish early in the morning. Choose one of the following two tours to experience the natural wonders of this area:
Birdwatching Hike
For this tour you get to choose to do the hike at Nosara’s Biological Reserve or at the beautiful property around Mala Noche Waterfall. In both locations you can see a wide variety of terrestrial and aquatic bird species. Our guide will provide information about amazing birds and nature along the way. Experienced bird watchers will also learn from local birds and will have the chance to get nice pictures.
Full Birdwatching Tour – Hike + Kayak
This tour can be considered as the best of both worlds for adventurers and bird lovers, since it includes a walk of a little less than two hours through the Nosara Biological Reserve, where you can observe terrestrial and shrub species. Then to complete the full experience you will kayak on the calm waters of Montaña river, where many aquatic birds come to fish early in the morning.
